I would say medium heavy and moderate fast. You don’t want too fast of a tip or you can kill the action of the jerkbait. Also keep it around 6’10 or 7 ft for length! Good luck!

What I’ve noticed is it has to be the right situations. They either want it and it will be like the bass want to absolutely murder it, or nothing will even look at it.

It’s definitely a big fish catcher. You have to be on a body of water with big fish first, obviously. Second, don’t be afraid to use bigger worms than a standard 5 inch senko, although I have caught plenty of 4 and 5 lbers on them. The Yum Genie is one of my favorites at 7.5 inches. Also, fishing deep weed edges on main lake points or humps seem to produce the best fish.

@@WaterandIceOutdoors even caught one the last tournament on a wacky rig but he was too short! You catch a lot of small fish on it that’s one thing that I hate but you can also every now and then get a big to eat it!

@@LipRippinJunkie Don't be afraid to use a bigger worm! I still get plenty of big fish on a regular senko but try worms in the 7 inch range. One of my favorites is the Yum Genie!

This is the walkway bridge that goes from the mainland to the Clearwater beach down town.

I would bring separate reels because the saltwater can corrode your fresh water reels. If you do bring them, look up how to soak them after using them to clean them so they don’t corrode.
